Blocks the platform did not write
These three bands are Astro source vendored from an upstream library, bound to this site’s tokens and grounds. Nothing about them is fetched at build time and nothing about them is a customer’s to change.

What a house band does with it
The same opening, on a block the platform wrote
One setting, not one per band
The badge reads its colour off the ground
A band with no eyebrow shows no pill and no rule
Four plates, one grid
A collection a customer lengthens

Survey
Every image on this band is a local file the build re-encodes. None is fetched, and none is a default the block supplied.

Drawing
The card’s ground, its hairline and its secondary prose all come from the band’s surface rather than from the block.

Planting
Type is the theme’s: the heading is a step, not a size chosen here, and the site’s pairing moves it.

Tending
One of these four names a route and the others do not, so both the linked and the plain card render on one band.
In their own words
What the band on the dark ground has to prove
The same block, one surface later. Every colour on it moved, and no class in the block says so.
The card here is not the card two bands up. On this ground the theme hands the block a lifted accent and a different hairline, and the block never learns which ground it is on.

A reviewer with a portrait
The avatar’s image path
A half star is a clipped overlay, not a second glyph, so a fractional score renders without a second icon in the closed set.

The avatar’s fallback path
Three cards, three columns above the medium breakpoint and one below it. The look sheet is taken at both widths for exactly this.

The three-column grid
A call, a face and a rule on the ink ground
One
The rule between these cells is this grid’s own fill.
Two
A border utility cannot paint it, so the tone states it once.
Three
Same colour as the ground’s hairline, different property.
